Calling Maine Veteran Artists
AUGUSTA, Maine — The Maine Arts Commission is pleased to announce the 2026 Veterans Art Exhibition, an annual Arts in the Capital program celebrating the creativity and artistic achievements of Maine's veteran artists.
The exhibition provides a unique opportunity for veterans to share their artwork with the public while highlighting the important role the arts play in healing, expression, and community. Selected works will be exhibited in the Burton M. Cross Building (111 Sewall Street, Augusta) from November 2, 2026, through February 26, 2027. Artists may choose to offer their artwork for sale, with 100 percent of proceeds going directly to the artist.
The online application period opened July 31, 2026, and closes October 13, 2026.
